Carnival Panorama to Offer Transpacific Cruises in 2024

Carnival Panorama

The Carnival Panorama is set to offer two new transpacific cruises in 2024, Carnival Cruise Line announced today.

Sailing to Japan, Southeast Asia, Alaska and Hawaii, the itineraries are part of the company’s Carnival Journeys concept.

The first transpacific cruise departs from Long Beach on Aug. 22, 2024. Sailing to Japan, the 18-day itinerary features visits to Alaska’s Ketchikan, Sitka and Icy Strait Point, in addition to scenic cruising at the Endicott Arm Fjord.

Before arriving in Yokohama, the one-way voyage also includes visits to two additional Japanese ports: Kushiro and Aomori.

Sailing on the opposite direction, the second transpacific itinerary departs Singapore for Long Beach on Oct. 10, 2024.

During the 25-day voyage, the Carnival Panorama is set to visit four destinations in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, including Malaysia, Philippines and Guam.

After crossing the International Date Line, the ship arrives on Hawaii for visits to Honolulu and Kahului before sailing to Long Beach.

Following the repositioning itinerary, the Panorama is set to resume its regular schedule on the West Coast on Nov. 5, 2024.

Sailing from Carnival’s Cruise Terminal in the Port of Long Beach, the ship offers week-long cruises to the Mexican Riviera that include visits to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Ensenada and more.

The Carnival Panorama debuted in 2019 as the last vessel in a series of three ships known as the Vista Class.

With capacity to over 4,000 guests and, the 135,000-ton vessel brought back many features of its sister ships, including the SkyRide, a twin-track suspended bike course, and the Havana Staterooms, which offer access to private pool deck and lounge, as well as lanai balconies.

Other highlights of the Panorama include the Sky Zone, a trampoline park, and the Carnival Kitchen program, a hands-on culinary experience led by the line’s chefs.
